It’s actually strange how this 44mm feels perfectly good on my wrist but other watches of similar or close diamond lug to lug don’t. I feel like it’s just due to the fact that my eyes have had 20+ years of seeing 44mm PAMs on my wrist. It just looks normal.

The black does indeed make it shrink.
Lack of wear is really due it being a big watch and for some reason my wanting to be a bit more subtle with watch choices in the office in the last 8-10 years.
I think the dial, the simplicity of it, is the strongest statement.
Every time I wear it I do feel like it is a statement. In simplicity of design. (Not coffee cup, thankfully. Liquid, but a tight lid on it).

Panerai is a very particular (obviously)
brand. It is not me but I appreciate it for others. AP is also not a “me” brand. Also certain brands being what they are can be very cyclical.
