I am based in Athens Greece and have been into Panerai five years now.
I started with a Pam232 which I still own, then I got an Arktos which has changed into a pam305. I got third one - a pam289 which changed for a fiddy.
Hence I now have a fiddy, 232 and 305. I am currently thinking of a few other 2010 and 2011 models

I live outside Boston, Mass. I can't recall when I became interested in
Panerai ,,,, perhaps it was four or five years ago. I am waiting for a call on a 337. It will be my sixth Panerai. Strange when I consider that I would always walk by my AD's Panerai display case and not give anything a second look. Times do change.

I've read about Panerai for some time and honestly did not think I would become a fan when the brand began to develop a large following a few years ago. I recall thinking Panerai and the big watch excitement would eventually fade and was perhaps a trend.....

but I think it was 2002 , could have been early 2003 That's when I bought my first Panerai. I knew them in 1993 but I was stupid and didn't buy them at that time, nor did I between 1997 and 2000 :-(
