panerai 190 or 246
i have a chance to buy both of these watches but will only pick one. i like the 190 due to the gold hands and the JLC movement with the power reserve on the back. However the 246 is very interesting although i doubt i would really benefit from the 1/8 second or split second features. my question is which watch may end up being more collectable. my understanding is the simpler the better for a panerai which would lead me to the 190. but i can't stop looking at the 246.

The one and only one Panerai Chrono is the Mare Nostrum. The 190 is a pure and beautiful watch, with one of the best 8 Days Movement, and much less expensive than a 246... Did I convince you? LOL Best. Nicolas
