If you go to the history section on the Panerai website, they have now updated their history to what I've been preaching for nearly ten years. I got a lot of heat from Panerai enthusiasts, but it's finally done. Constant dropping wears away the stone. They still show the stupid Luminor trade mark registration from 1949 though (not an actual patent for tritium, just a name registration), which is historically irrelevant and only creates confusion imo. The Luminor compound was only developed in 1965.
