The Fiddy, PAM 127 was issued in 2002, in a LE of 1950 pieces, housing a good old UNITAS movement, while the PAM 267 was unveiled in a LE of 6 pieces, in 2008, with its vintage 8 days movement, the Angelus 240. 2 blasts from the Past, for sure. Best, Nico...  

But I still prefer 217, the lefty has its own charm imo.

And 127 is perfection. 267 is special.

These were not made in 1950, nor the 1950s. Luminor, the tritium-based compound, was introced in 1965. Luminor watches with small seconds at 9 o'clock were made in 1968, in a batch 21 pieces, which marked the final delivery of Panerai watches to the Itali...

in 1950 (and I bought the Fiddy, just for that back then) I agree with you.

at that time, I wasn't into "PANERAI", I had just started liking them and 1950 on the dial, was reason enough enough for buying the Fiddie. Only after (much after) I started learning things Panerai.. Lolllllllllll
