I am considering a 47mm Panerai. My biggest watch is the IWC big pilot that is almost 47mm.. so may be it can work out! Different watches but all charming somehow! which do you like and why vs the others? You can pick only one Thanks for your help ...  

why? because of the dial ?

for the hands and the fact that I don't like the ohters....much

from the original model produced in the 40ies..

... all comparable, in that they are simple and large. My favorites are the 662 and 721. The 721 is my favorite design, but it does look very large on the wrist (large dial, smaller bezel). The 662 has great balance and a beautiful, rugged case and crown ... 

Also tend toward the 721. I thought the integrated lugs case would make it a bit more wearable than the 662 ?

The 721 is a bit more comfortable with its smaller lugs. They’re all very big watches, but the 721 looks the biggest to my eye because the dial is so prominent. That said, it’s quite striking due to its simplicity and blue hands. It’s not big and bold lik... 

I’d go for the 731 by a hair over the 662. My experience with my 720 tells me that it fits smaller even though the dial looks larger. It wears smaller for my wrist than the Big Pilot as well. No bad choices though. Kent

But most likely the 721. I love the 685 but it's the first to go due to 30m WR. Then the 931 too, I am not of fan of the color combo, unlike the 687. I tried the 662 many times but it's a very bulky watch and sits very tall on my wrist. 721 it is for me!

that is indeed not a great feature for such a watch.

You wear the 662 and 721 enough to probably be due for replacements ;-)

This is my preference. I like the combo of gold colored hands on a black sandwich dial (685). The blue hands are also a great combo with a black sandwich dial (721). ...  

The first photo is mine, the second photo is not. The 663 in the photos is IMO one if the most beautiful modern PAMs, and thus the 662 would also qualify as such. Good luck with your decision! ...
