I must applaud OP's effort in developing the P3000 movement for the 47mm case as opposed to the conventional approach of stuffing the P999 w/ spacer... Bravo.

Next up is the Panerai PAM376 47mm White Gold Radiomir 3 Days w/ California dial . It's a unique edition of 299 pieces from the SIHH 2011 Special Editions. It's another 47mm Radiomir housing the new P.3000 in-house manual wind movement and also uses the P...

The Panerai PAM375 47mm Luminor Composite 1950 3 Days is another watch that Panerai released this year that houses the manual wind P.3000/1 movement. This watch differs from the other P.3000 watches in that it uses a sapphire crystal instead of Plexiglass...

Still hoping to see it yet in person, but the PAM 382 definitely looks interesting and unique for the segment. I do find the PAM 375 very interesting as well, but I just find last year's PAM 339 to be an overall more beautiful piece.

Hey guys, I put a substantial deposit down on a 372 so that I will get "the call" when they start arriving at my AD. So these comments are out of love For some reason this didn't strike me as strange until now, but isn't it a bit weird to have acrylic on ... 

Yes, indeed, it is a bit weird that we have a sapphire case back and a plexy glass on the dial side... My guess is that a plexy is too fragile for a case back: Do you imagine all the scratches you'd get when the watch is not on your wrist? The more logica...

Panerai really have done a great job for this year's new releases... As for the historic line, 372 is a definite winner... A fantastic re-issue of the original 6152.. The 373 is a version of Radiomir that some have been waiting for.. Unfortunately it is i...

and also keep in mind that this was a preview showing for Press, not for the general public. Panerai wants to show the new pieces to all the press editors prior to the general public showings which will occur later. Luckily PPro is considered "Press" even...

IMO the 372 has a definitely the hit everyone is talking about but I wish the finish was brushed and matte instead of polished metal. -MW
