In my case, the 202/A was simply the first Panerai my eyes ever landed on — I was 14, half-awake after touching down in Geneva, and the image on that airport billboard just stopped me cold. That moment stayed with me for decades. So my post wasn’t meant to assign historical primacy, only to honor the piece that personally pulled me into this world.
Your words about la pace dei sensi made me smile. I’ve always called that feeling my little ‘Zen-Fu’ — peaceful on the surface, ready for chaos underneath — and this watch brought it right back.
