Regardless of the success or failure of the new 790/791, for me it is a first step in the right direction. Creating something new without loosing their strong DNA. You see these two models and immediately know that they are Panerais.
I think they should keep up their strong history and in parallel experiment with new dials, case variations and perhaps also movement iterations (cal. 3000 in every new watch is a little bit boring).
At the moment I feel more attracted by the black dial. For my taste more versatile and a stronger connection to the past (if this is important anyhow).

I like this three watches and i think it is a new way for Panerei. Only the hands and numbers from the black one need luminova old radium. The rest is perfect.

Unfortunately I'm not a fan of this art deco dial. It just seems odd to me. If I had to choose between the 2 versions, I'd definitely opt for the black dial though. The ivory dial is too much for my eyes. Cheers, Anthony
