Yesterday evening was PuristSPro's 1st ever Panerai dinner event. As the General Manager of PuristSPro and Panerai forum co-moderator, words cannot express how thrilled I was to be able to organize and put together this Panerai event for the PuristS commu...  

Before we start, out of respect for our guests' privacy, I will not be posting any names of people except for PPro and Panerai staff. Below, Chad is introducing the new SIHH 2009 line-up to Art. OoOoO...what is this monster? It's the 60mm Panerai Radiomir...  

Plus, you guys got to see and feel the 341 again! Man, i wonder why that piece simply can't come to Tokyo! But thanks for the shots Anths! Much appreciated! Stephen

Below is the Panerai PAM28 Luminor Power Reserve which is a limited to 1000 pieces. This is a re-edition of the PAM28 and the main difference is a slightly different looking power reserve display. I personally like the original power reserve display; but ...

and sort of feels like a 44mm Luminor IMO. I think it's because of the slightly thinner bezel as compared to other Submersibles. I'd definitely go to the Beverly Hills Boutique and try the PAM305 on the wrist. I believe they have the SIHH 2009 collection ... 

And also the confirmation of certain details! I just can't wait to get mine, and boy will i surely wear it! Stephen

Does 305 make the 1st regular production model in 47mm size? Thanks again for the great event, too bad it was just too far for me...

I can't think of any other 47mm's which weren't regular productions, so looks like the PAM305 is the 1st regular production 47mm model. - AT

Titanium grade 2 instead of grade 5 for 309/322 , confirmed by Panerai. I was surprised to see some hairlines on PAM 305 case of the exhibition model. It is a great watch indeed on wrist. regards, Patrickh...

After the cocktail reception at the Panerai Boutique, we walk 1 block over to Prego on Camden Drive. We have a spacious private room upstairs, and at each table was a Panerai rep to answer questions about the watches. Below is a picture of the table setti...  

GR8 report! I really enjoy the 2009 line-up, and totally agree with your sentiments on those watches, especially the 319! The base plates tease me too much -- I want to see more! Btw, nice to see an 'old star' on your wrist

Tuesday was an unpleasant day at the office for me. What a perfect treat to race out of the office and through the canyon to Beverly Hills to spend the evening with great company, fantastic food and a nice collection of new Panerais! I am very grateful to...

It was a real treat to see the new pieces up close. Some were certainly impressive and tempting. It was also wonderful to see familiar faces and meet new ones as well. Thank you to Panerai and PPro for putting together a memorable evening.

I had a great time at the event. I loved seeing the new watches, particularly the 305. Chad and the people at the Boutique are always great to see and chat with. It was nice meeting a few new people this time too. Greg

does that mean that the soprod's etc are a thing of the past or will be in the near future? i've always been put off panerai's because they used pretty cheap movements in expensive watches, but if they now have in-house movements it makes them a lot more ... 

in their regular Luminor watches IMO. I don't think they will discontinue these watches for quite some time, but I do hope eventually Panerai phases out these movements and replaces them w/ the P.900x in the regular Luminors. Don't know if it'll happen bu... 

I do not think also that Panerai will use their P.900x in the basic models Cheers

for me is that our dear G O moderator is perfect wrist model for Panerai I think that after this photo session is just matter of months when we will see Art sporting one of our dearest brands on his wrist in sunny sunday SoCal afternoon ;0) Thank you for ...
