No, the feeling is totally different from seude. It doesnt have that "micro-hairy" feel of seude. There seems to be some distress in the piece, but not that much. The feeling is simply unique, and i'm sorry i don't know how to describe it more!
No, i have never tried a beaver tail, it does sounds interesting though! I don't think that's available here in Japan even among the custom order strap makers!
Your strap sounds very appealing, especially the colour! Please post photos of it once you have gotten it! I would much appreciate that!
