the 127 is an amazing piece that set the tone--so much so we commonly refer to 1950 cases
it was only the Radiomir and the luminor cases before the arrival of the 127. set the tone, so to speak, for me as well--and really made me reconsider the brand. I could never buy it, and probably wouldn't (i've discovered i am a radiomir person)--but it really embodies so many facets and virtues of panerai.
a great watch indeed!
