OK let us hear what Panerai fans think & feel Which one is your personal favorite 372 or 587 Just don't tell me both This or that Sincerely Damjan...  

chosen also for its caracteristic crown guard. The other one is just nicely done, IMHO.

That is feature I adore most on Panerai although it came relatively late in Panrerai history Damjan

for me representative of recent Panerai and I appreciate that. A real vintage is a must have but very rare and expensive these days. A new release of vintage spirit is just a pale copy, even if It can be done nicely of course. For me, Panerai is doing too... 

but for me it will be the Marina Militare, thank you very much:) I don't really like the Luminor but I love the Radiomir in small doses though, 40mm?:) Have a nice weekend. Cheers Francois

I have 372 wich I really like a lot. But 587 is as good as it gets imo.

that in the end of the day that would be my choice as well Yours D

..but it did not stop there.. ..there were few more re-editions and remakes and remodifications of many more models after the 372.. ..not saying the 587 is not appealing but I prefer the 372 more, Damjan.

We use to say that "conventions are made to be broken". But even with this in mind, I go to repair this "mistake" with a 510, soon. Cheers, Nilo

Yes that is one BIG issue with some Panerais and the pain is that historically correct is to not have second (in most cases) :( Love your one as well Sincerely Damjan

but i'd sure would like to see the 587 with the crownprotector of the 372 :) maybe i will have to do a swap and put the dial and hands of the 587 in the case of the 372 !

I will pick the MM if it is not manual. I find the screw down crown not as convinent as the crown guard "mechanism" which is simple functional yet so panerai. I hate to imagine I might ruin the screw tread when doing such so often. Yeah, my pick is the 37...

The crown guard is the decision maker for me. If I have to have only 1 Panerai, it has to have the crown guard. Cheers, Anthony

...the Marina Militare sterile dial is a plus hard to match...then if I put the pencil hands and the SE 1000 pcs into the equation to me it's game-set-match for the 587.
