what has become AC/DC is my memory...hahaha There is also another recent Cali PAM448 which is worth considering, IMO. Is a limited edition of 750 pieces, with a P3000-3days PR-in-house movement (same as the 424). This model has a greater appeal than the 249 with the budding/neophyte panerista, because of its in-house movement which they consider (rightfully so) more valuable than the valjoux/derivative Caliber OP X used in the 249, hence justifying the price tag.

I'm after adding a radiomir to my collection. Whilst ideally I would love the 249, I have been offered a 424 or 425 - my preference I think is the 424. I have a 562 Luminor, so looking to balance up my Panerai collection, together with a couple of divers ...
