I took few days off to attend a friends wedding in Bali and also took a short holiday there... I was also expecting to receive a package that my girlfriend carried for me from Singapore.. One of my grail : The fiddestro Why 217 not 127? I'm not a left-han...
127 / 217, it doesn't matter. What matters is to get one of these, as you now have a superb pair of Historic watches from Panerai. I envy you, my friend. Best, Nicolas This message has been edited by amanico on 2010-10-26 09:49:19
You're always the first!!! This is really big for me... 3 big purchase (for me) in a year... the last time I got my watch was 3 years ago... But, still a beginner... And still looking forward for a long journey in the Panerai addiction.. Best, Sam
So take your time, enjoy, and think about what could be the next one which will perfectly compliment your already nice collection. Well, my 2 cents. Best, Nicolas
6152 4 lines, a TRUE Marina Militare, a 3646 " 3 / 6 / 9 / 12, a Small Egiziano 6154, and a Mare Nostrum Pam 300, because the Vintage was a proto only. And, at this point, why not a GPF 2/ 56? With that, you'll be seriously cured, and absolutely ... Homel...
much as I would like to own one of these pieces, I don't have the motivation. I'm not.....married. I would buy one of these lovelies ONLY if I were married and my wife threatened me with...divorce.. Being an unrepenting single, without an unlimited bank a...
Would you let go 4 or 5 modern Panerai for a Vintage??? Would you be able to reduce it to the essential? Headscratcher... I thought a long time about it, and the answer, is YES , for me. Best, Nicolas.
on second thought....No. Arghhhh, which one to "sacrifice"? That's a more complicated question (for me) than the...To be or not too be.... I'll dwell on it, some. Ciao - Sergio
Without any hesitation. For a 6152 4 lines or a small Egiziano, and a nice 3646... The Epitome of Panerai. They can't be beaten. Well, in my book. Best, Nicolas
for the time being. Once I like....really like...a model, it's pretty hard for me to consider letting it go. Besides, for the models you have in mind, the "flippers" want a lot more of the fatidical....pound of flesh.... Ciao - Sergio
I see your very valuable logic, indeed. It is always a pain to let go a cherished piece. That is what we call a " Sacrifice ", even if it is a bit exagerated word. Best, Nicolas
I know you've chased after the 217 for a while, now. Congratulations on your persistence and I'm sure you'll love it.. Now you've got to get youself a nice....Fiddy. After all, you don't want to make your 217 feel like an...orphan, do you??? hahahaha Chee...
Along with the 249, it is my ultimate modern Panerai (that was still in my range) Now about the fiddy, I'm not sure if I want to get it... I got no love on the fiddy.. I'm not so sure why, maybe it's the "1950" wording", it disturbs me... But it's just my...
sorry Sam, I thought everybody loved the Fiddy. Good thing about Panerai, they made and make a number of different, handsome (IMO) watches that keep bringing people back, as you have already found out... Cheers - Sergio
You'v got a very desired Luminor there! Great collection, and as the guys have debated above, it's too late to turn back now! Cheers and wear them in the best of health! Stephen
As you know this is my dream Luminor.. I'm really glad I finally got it.. It's a dream come true for me.. Well, I don't think there's any way I can go back... I'm stuck in the middle of Panerai madness... Especially with the indoristi guys... Cheers, Sam
The 217 is an great piece! Really like the MM dial. Fiddestro paired with your 249 and you have a great Luminor and Rad combo. I also see that you have a very nice 292 with Pig and a nice 104. Great looking collection! Nice straps too from your GF.
