Well, several things to consider...
I had just clicked on your Longines 7150 post before this one. Side by side, would you really choose the PAM? The Longines seems much more authentic to my eyes. The colors are a little different of course, but you have the better vintage look already.
PAM372... still my favorite modern production Panerai. The 662 really tempted me. I was offered it very early on in the deliveries, and passed. In the old days, you could not take the chance to pass on a Panerai LE if you "sort of" liked it, or it would be too late. The 662 is easy to find now, and the cost gets more attractive already.
A final point, how long before we see the same dial colors used throughout the Panerai lines? I think next year we will see the 662 color used again, they tend to wait 2 years. And then the year after, probably this same 687 color.
So definitely a unique offering from Panerai, but not enough to make me jump.

... watch, with a fantastic dial color and its only drawback is not having a sandwich dial. In this department the 662 loses against this new model 687. Anyway, I love my 662 and its 1940 case sans crown guard. Best option is... as always... to go for Bot...

So definitely, this is a brand I enjoy and have watched evolve for some time now. I do not fault any company for making money... that is why they are likely in business in the first place. But the direction definitely changed some years ago, and patience ...

The first 3646 Brevettato...
was PRODUCED by Panerai in 1943. After that it has gone trough some...tweaking...over subseqeunt years Still, there's no record of the number of pieces produced.

Since 2005 and the OOR, I don't believe any Panerai watch is collectible anymore. Now, some are very nice, still. The PAM 372, the 662, the 587, this one, the 687. And a few others. I think we should consider them for what they are, nice ( or not, dependi...

I've seen it for sale on the web. If you can't get hold of one of them, have a look at the 672 FIRENZE, which you can find in the Panerai official website, in the Special Boutique's Edition of the San Giovanni Boutique.
I've lived in Singapore, for some 20 years.
aircon+swimming pool are more important than house/apartment. Since I bought it, my 249 and I, never..ever....EVER had a problem, nor any other Panerai I've used on the pool ...
