The thinness of the case I find very much a feature. Curious how it would feel on the wrist - when do you reckon they will be out?

The only fly in the ointment is the 30m WR - feel is should be more for Panerai, irrespective of the model...

which I saw on Mr Bonati's wrist, last night in Florence, will sell like hot cakes. A slimmed down, 45mm Fiddy that fits..under..the shirt's cuff it's a model a lot of Panerai's admirers have fantasized about for a long time. The...automatic...on the dial...

While I always appreciate a thinner case, when it comes to chunky Panerais that I wear on warm sunny sleeveless days, I'm less concerned about the case thickness. I'm still thinking about the Radiomir with the engravings that I saw at SIHH 2015! That was ...

I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Panerai. But this new way (thicker case, black dial which give nice shades I suppose and calibers) is really interesting. Very good point that time!

But I do like the thinner case! ...  

with a depth rate of 30 meters I might just be able to do the dishes with it ...... or in a better scenario get them out of the dishwasher seriously !!! (besides that I think the models are more or less ok but a brand known for being a diver watch that co... 

I notice the 30m WR sign. The 42mm size, thinner case, sunburst dial, movement, all tick my boxes. But I don't quite understand the point of having a famous Panerai crown guard with only 30m WR.

As I said in my earlier post, I\'m liking the new models...but...: 1. 30m WR? In a watch with heritage that\'s all about being a diving watch? Surely you jest. I can only imagine that the product planners/marketing people were looking for a way to differe...  

And yes, having "Automatic" on the dial is lame nowadays. I don't know why brands keep doing this.. - AT

an overhaul of the brand image and distancing themselves, more and more, from stereotypes associated with Panerai. It's a fact that a Panerai it's still perceived by the majority of people...out there...as rough and tough, spartan, MANUALLY wound watches....

I think a thin profile like this one would work better on a rad type case a la 587 for example. I prefer luminors hefty. Not sure if the crown guard works with a thin profile.
