The strap is great for one - Omega has been doing interesting things in this department lately - but I also very much like the case shape, the hands and dial. The most attention went to the 60th anniversary pieces but this is actually a very likeable watc...

Sorry to say, but the most appealing here is the strap. The combination of lyre lugs, candle stick anhds AND lollipop plus crosshair..... Looks like a total franken to me! Best Blomman

I hear you. Loud and clear. And I diagree with you both. The thing is....as you point out ..."it looks like a total franken". Why do I differ from you both? Beacuse its NOT a franken. Its a watch made by Omega. And because it looks tremendous fun. having ...

I'm perplexed with this fundamentalism. Omega just realized a watch, that they don't claim to be a re edition, using their design and that's it. No more, no less. If one wants a re edition, go for the Trilogy (and complain about the writing on the dial?).... 

.....if its an identiacal version of the original needed.....go for the original. If its a re-edition that turns you into Neo from the Matrix, go for the modern.

To carry the name "Railmaster" comes with a responsibility. That it is not a re-edition is not the same as "lets make something that came out of a gum ball machine"...... BUT, you might be right. Maybe I am too rusty and too intimet with the original to s...

It's fine but every other manufacturer do this "desecration", from time to time. Notice that a previous Railmaster (not rusty) had Lyre lugs. Cheers, Nilo ...

Please!!! This low cost (low MSRP) is for the non rusty souls. For the rusty addicts, there's the Trilogy Railmaster, also sold in separate, that offers to the fundamentalist a chance to have a traditional watch, that also shows accurate time and is METAS...

You put the finger on the spot. Out of the three in the "Holy Trinity" the Railmaster is the one that always been special. Special in the sense of "not for all", not over exploited, no compromises. The SM 300 as well as the Speedmaster has evolved over th...

There's a grey dial version that's just as attractive or maybe even moreso. I see lots of potential for this one. M4

Luckily, there are many makers and models to choose from. The trick, I think, is to know what you fancy, so that when one comes along and is special to you, you are able to pull the trigger and not hesitate. Good things come to those who are patient, and ... 

Like the summary from Blomman. The addition of the cross hair is just pushing this over the edge for my liking. I have to say that I\'m really taken with the watch strap though. Very stylish.
