I have a warm spot for these watches... They are not that BIG in comparison to today's styles .... very wearable watch. This is a FORM fits function... You know at the factory these watches were tested to 1000m before shipping them out !!
I just got mine back from repair. The spit stem went on me when I was doing the photo comparison between the original and the release with the 8500 movement...

Agreed, Jeff... The Ploprof belongs to the selective club of great diving watches.
It technical and orignal case makes all the difference. Not evident to wear on an everyday basis, but hey, a " strong " watch. Best, and thanks for this nice and interesting post. Nicolas.

the watch is pretty much wearable in today's standards, as wearable as any Panerai for instance. Plus the cool design is very up to date ;-) Cheers Jeff
