Omega

I had this Omega Constellation for the past 17 years and would like to learn more about Omega Constellations in particular. When was the Constellation first produced? Would appreciate your comments and advise. Thank you. HamL....  

The first Constellations came out in the early 1950's. They were Globemasters in the US for a couple years because of some kind of trademark issue, and switched to Constellation like everywhere else in 1954. You can learn just about all you need to know i...  

I bought the watch as is, without any referbishment to any part of the watch. Keeps good time and is ideal for my wrist of 6.5 inches. Thanks. Ham L

the dials obviously been refinished, but getting it refinished again (as i did) is very difficult for a dial like that so i'd wear it and enjoy it. it looks great and when you wear it out you'll be the only one to know its not totally original. welcome to...

..... there seems to be at least one member with a correct original version of just about every vintage Omega to use as a comparison. What immediately caught my attention was the last "n" in Constellation - it didn't roll under. At least most Connies had ...

Hi. I don't think that I can help you much here but our watch looks correct and original to me. I have one like that, 32mm in diameter, powered by a cal 500 and cased in the US with a snap back (yours in the UK, right ?) These watches do not belong to any...
