Excellent report and thanks for the lenghty review
Although I am more into Omega vintage watches, some Omega modern watches are well made. This one plays in the Daytona crowd alongwith other chronographs.
My biggest regrets are that there are no self centering hammers in the chronograph mechanism which avoids the watchmaker to retouch the hammers during the overhaul, no possibility to change the date at what hour you want unlike the breitling b01 movement, a 4 years instead of 5 years for Rolex and Breitling and 65 hours of power reserve against 72 hours of power reserve for the Breitling b01 and the Rolex 4130. However it is technically superior to anything used in blancpain chronograph with a frederic piguet base which has a mere 40 hours power reserve movement or to a jlc 752 which doesn't have a 15000 gauss antimagnetic resistance. This one is a fine looking watch even though I prefer the 1957 model to it

Why all caps?
Is it me or does 'OMEGA' seem like the branding folks are trying too hard? Same with Sedna TM gold and Ceragold TM and Liquidmetal (r) etc. Not that Rolex and Hublot and the likes don't do similar things, although at least they don't call themselves ROLEX...

That tells me none of them would be a long term keeper in my small collection. BUT... I do find these dials quite tempting. I seem to have a fitment problem with Omegas though, they all seem to ride very high, as if they are even thicker than they are. Th...
