I am too thinking about getting either a PP 5167 or a AP Royal Oak. In my case, however, I am either looking at the 14790, which is smaller than the 15300, or a Vintage A series Jumbo. I wish I could get all three, but a new house is also on the horizon a...

Hi Bill, hello to all! Very simple plans for 2010:   1) complete and restore the (too) many project watches  2) some movements for replacement  30 T2 Rg  or  SC 3) movement for Rolex Prince 4) any perfect Omega chronometer  (handwound)  and  SM chronomete... 

i'm not changing my theme's so i'm looking out for nice examples from 1964, i'd like a nice cal 286 or similar movement, perhaps in a seamaster 30. i'm trying not to replicate too much so different movements, different brands if i can get the dating right...

this year will have to be more subtle so first of all waiting for SIHH to see if what I would like is released but if not then I've been after a Speedy for years so maybe this year will be the one.....I may get shot for this comment but either the sapphir...

thats a nice looking Longines Art. i hope it comes your way. i have my eyes on 2 pieces i cant decide between. choice one is a 1964 Tudor Royal with original box and papers and choice two is a 2006 Nomos Tangente with their Alpha calibre. ltd edition for ...

Hans, sadly the tudor has gone. it was from a UK dealer so i was waiting until after the xmas break to contact them and someone beat me too it. i'm going for the nomos due to the number, the great mustardy yellow dial and the in house movement. it will be... 

..you will find another possibility for a watch aquisition and have the resources for it in 2010, or 2010 will be a long year I have also looked at the Nomos. I would also go for just one. Though feel really nice sitting on the wrist... BR Hans

it would have been the last of 2009, but there was a miscommunication with the seller. its a 1964 Seamaster 30 with a calibre 285 inside. case ref 135.007-64. i was after one of the last 30mm calibres so this suits me nicely. good price although it has a ...

well Ben, funny you should say that as when i saw it listed it was advertised all wrong and the seller doesnt know much about Omegas. he asked me about it and i said it was a 286, but then he replied saying it read 285. i didnt mind which it was and got i...

you misunderstood slightly Nicolas, the strap cost the owner $170 and the watch was twice that, but i only paid a fraction of the straps cost to keep it on the watch. why anyone would put that sort of strap on a watch worth a few hundred dollars i dont kn...
