His 'Vette isn't one of the original '70 ZL-1 models, it's a '69 427 that had its original iron block engine replaced with the only over-the-counter aluminum ZL-1 427 engine Chevy sold. It came without a carburetor so he had a mechanical fuel injection system installed. His 'Vette is currently in a shop having its fuel injection system replaced with a modern Holley EFI.
Basically it's a modded '69 with an original '70 ZL-1 crate motor.
