I like the gold and ss...
however, I have a friend who loves solid gold watches, especially Rolex, Patek, and Piaget. His reasoning is that if you can't sell the watch but need some quick cash, you can always scrap the movement (he buys watches for value, not movements, so un-Purist!), and melt down the rest for whatever gold is going for. I told him it's evil to do that, but, ya know, he's right.
Omega rocks! If you can go for the solid gold sometime, buy that. My 2 cents minus tax! Thanks!

for your opinion and comments. I always feel a tinge of "buyer's remorse" when I splurge for a new addition to the collection, albeit a modest one. I've reached a point with the wife that when I buy one...I feel I have to sell one! What's wrong with that ...
