I love a great "resurrection"
I enjoy, more than a new watch, when a vintage piece is renovated to the former glory.

thats a very good question. a lot of it has to do with appealing to the masses and it is clear that the majority of people who buy watches prefer bigger ones at the moment so thats what they make. they did make some nice pieces in their museum collection ...
