Hi Art, everything looks OK - seems to be an "American case". Actually I do not understand the question behind your post (maybe I am a little stupid...) Does this require some experts to verify the movement or case? IMO everything is clear!? kind regards ...

Hi Art, The number G6560 is the ref# of the US case ordered by Morris. The other number is the serial number of the case. Concerning the question about the balance I will have to look it up. kind regards Erich

. . . Omega serial numbers were greater than five digits. Thanks for the confirmation, Erich. Also, does the "G" before 6560 indicate a gold case? Obviously, the case is gold, just wondering if the letter corresponds to the case material. This message has... 

Art, IMO the G is not for gold, it is just a part of the ref#... but I stand corrected if somebody knows it better... Concerning the balance screws: When looking closely on your pictures I think there are balance screws... or do I become blind with age? b... 

. . . on my Mac and can barely make out images of screws on the balance rim, so hoi's conjecture that the balance was in motion when the photo was taken is probably right . . .

... Art, comparing with my two watches with cal. 354, one is unadjusted and another is adjusted for chronometer used. the balance looks like the same as yours. stefan

If you want to see those screws, you have to wait until it stops then take pics.

. . . is the movement wasn't powered up when the pics were taken. It's possible that it was barely running. In any case, I'll make note of the balance when I retrieve it from service.
