Well, about a month ago my poor SM300 was subjected to H2O and suffered some moisture intrusion. Off it went to my watchmaker to assess the damage and for some emergency work. He put the watch in his drying machine first, then went to work. The two tests ...

Thanks Nicolas. Bar Harbor is located next to Arcadia National Park in Maine. Lots of woodlands and rocky New England coastline. It's about a 5-6 hour drive north from Boston. We had a great time and more than our fare share of lobster. Cheers, Joe (sneak...  

Had a stuttering second hand, so had it taken in to be looked at. Lucky that no real repairs needed to be done, just tightening up of a couple loose parts. They did pressure test the watch (which I've never had done before) and passed with flying colors. ... 

Snak, isnt yours a Watchco model? if it is it ought to pass with flying colours as its brand new. i just dont take the risk with mine. my 165.014 i know wont pass as i had the choice of keeping the original crown or replacing it and having water resistanc... 

The sheet that came with it said something to the effect that it was an older watch and should not be expected to hold up to the rigors of underwater use. I think this may have been a generic sheet that they send with all their watch purchases and to prot...

Well if omega failed and follow by rolex as well, maybe you should be on the "BALL"----> Get a BALL watch instead. ; - )
