The sheet that came with it said something to the effect that it was an older watch and should not be expected to hold up to the rigors of underwater use.
I think this may have been a generic sheet that they send with all their watch purchases and to protect themselves, but since the case, crystal, all seals and gaskets are new, I couldn't imagine a problem. Mine has been in the water.

Had a stuttering second hand, so had it taken in to be looked at. Lucky that no real repairs needed to be done, just tightening up of a couple loose parts. They did pressure test the watch (which I've never had done before) and passed with flying colors. ...
