Just lovely. Enjoy.

As you know, i agree with you Graham, about vintage pieces.  The hunt, the anticipation and the regular visits from the postman are part of what satisfies the craving, and I have to keep within budget.    The disappointment one feels when a new piece is not quite what I expected (or worse) is just as real when the funds involved are the price of a nice dinner for two rather than the price of a family auto, but in the former case the regret passes quickly and the necessary corrective actions are much less pressing.

(Needless to say, I have had two disappointments in a row in the past two weeks, offset by a happy communication from a certain Purist who has offered me a watch I have long been seeking.)
