what can i say my friend, its an addiction that fills the lonely hours between waking and sleeping :) it also fills the safe with enjoyment and potential investment. best the boy from 64.

... after doing more and more homework on those 1960's Omegas. indeed Omega made a lot of great movement with very reasonable cost during that time . among all my Seamaster 600, i have one with date function, but housed with cal.613. pic is attached to sh...  

thats a nice 613 Stefan. i think i've seen it before in another post. IMO you cant beat vintage Omega for the best quality for the money. i look at other brands and the prices are very high for something that doesnt look to be any better although they are...

that movement is stunning Art, better than new if thats possible. your friends dial is also far nicer than any of mine. those applied numerals are really top drawer. i dont pay a huge amount which is perhaps why i get the more common dials. Big Daddy has ... 

Another '68. Good job, G. I have a Seamaster 600 of similar vintage - will have to check the #s - it doesn't see daylight much as it's gold (not my thing)....but it was too good to leave alone.

As you know, i agree with you Graham, about vintage pieces. The hunt, the anticipation and the regular visits from the postman are part of what satisfies the craving, and I have to keep within budget. The disappointment one feels when a new piece is not q...

thanks Hans, i posted it to my watchmaker for service today so should be back by end of next week. i wouldnt usually discuss price, but Art started it. i only paid £120 incl shipping and probably £80 for a service. a total of £200 cant be bad :-)) best G...
