My 2¢ worth of speculation . . .
. . . is that the Peruvian agent at the time was actively promoting Omega to well-heeled customers.
The Air Force of Peru ordered Railmasters with 'Flightmaster' printed on the dial. How many, I don't know, but suspect fewer than the legendary P.A.F. I believe the dial was the only unique aspect, unlike the P.A.F. which had double-signature verification.
Who knows, maybe the Ranchero was an attempt to entice the Peruvian Cattleman's Association.

Omega delivered 50 pieces of the Omega Speedmaster ref. 105.012-63, all equipped with a ref. 1506 bracelet, on July 2nd, 1964 to the Automovil Club Peruano (A.C.P.). It is to my knowledge the only time, that Omega added a "double signature" to a Speedmast...
It's the privilege of being a Peruvian driver!
