I'm wondering what the big wheel in the movement in the lower picture (with 16 jewels just on top of that) is and what it does. I'm guessing the lower picture is also a pic of the 30t2scrg movement? What is the label for the first nmovement? Just 30t? Wha...  

The big wheel you refer to is the wheel driving the central sweep seconds hand. You will see it all the centre seconds versions of the 30mm calibres. It is not present in the versions of these movements that featured small sub-seconds hands. The movement ...

The difference between the 30 T2 SC rg and the 30 T2 Rg is that one is sweep seconds and the other sub-seconds. I don't personally own either of these, and will leave it others to comment on the relative collectability or rarity of the different versions ...
