Sadly, we could never say it is an oversight when you consider the incredible number of versions they offer for their other lines, so clearly this was intentional for their Museum collection and therefore very disappointing.

this could be the reason for the museum (Purist) pieces always lacking a date.

I almost got one, after trying it on a leather strap. Has a 9300 enhanced with the GMT, is a nice watch. It uses the caliber 9605. Omega reference: 231.10.43.52.06.001 Great mix of dressy and sports. Cheers, Nilo ...  

I could have lived with the two sub dial layout in exchange for the excellent movement. I may have even excused the last of a tachy/tele/pulse scale. But the size is nearly the same at 43mm, and still so thick. In the end, perhaps a less appealing option ...
