The "NATO" strap looks realistic in colour and texture although the RAF issues, post-1960, did not have the steel runners and also the steel buckle was twin barbed/pinned.  The pins were quite sharp to pierce the canvas strap, which had no spaced holes.

Your watch looks seriously dangerous to wear for long periods and needs to live in a lead-lined box!  Also taking the movement out of the case needs caution in case you inhale fine particles of dust/luminous paint.  Please take care.  Ingested radium 226 will find its way into bone marrow and radiate alpha.  Not nice and no cure!
