Return from the brink...
Hi All,
Many months back I sought helf from fellow members here, regarding a worn out Ranchero.
Although the watch was in a pretty bad shape, I took a challenge to myself to try and restore as best as possible.
And of course with an advice from Achim, that he would improve on the dial, I went ahead with the purchase.
Here are some pictures from the earlier post.
A special thanks to Achim on a great job he did on the dial.
Then I took some shots while my watch maker was working on the movement.

The result on the dial is really good. I really love these revival projects. I am sure that you had a real good time helping this watch come back to life. Looks real good on your wriste. Best regards, George

i'm very interested in how Achim managed to work on the dial and still getting it looking like a vintage piece with original patina. great result. movement looks excellent as well so you now have a great piece Edward. enjoy it Graham

Achim told me he worked patiently for 5 hours on the dial. yes indeed he understood my needs and kept the vintage look to perfection . thanks for your nice words Graham best Ed
