It saddens me that Omega’s misguided sense of balance results in huge watches way beyond my desire to buy an Omega. Upon learning that the Speedmaster 57 had been changed a bit I went to see it, yet it remains an unsightly clump of steel on my 7.5+” wrist. I own an older Seamaster 300 which its thinness makes it almost elegant, at least a much better watch to wear than their PO atrocities. Of course, I would NEVER wear a NATO strap. I just can’t understand why anyone would. It’s like wearing a hat with balls hanging.
Since we are on the topic of Omega reissuing its old watches this week…
A watch that I’d like to see revived by Omega is the Speedmaster “TV” reference 176.0014 from the 1970s. The only time I have seen this watch was at the Omega museum in Biel/Bienne. If Omega chose to reissue that watch, then I’d be an immediate buyer! On ...

To me, the Seamaster is the line that interests me the most...
...especially the vintage models, one of which I own.
