Just interested in why you didn't take the Harlem river from the North instead of going all the way down to the tip of Manhattan and then back up the East River? Is the creek too shallow at certain times of the day? Is there too much debris in up there? T... 

I usually have guests and the Harlem River is essentially a filthy gutter… Almost everybody wants to see the tip of the island so I go the long way around but more specifically a good friend of mine was killed on the Harlem River in a rowing accident when...
