That being said. First I like your patek I’ve been eyeing it a lot but I don’t have any relationship with patek and I’m still debating patek vs independent unique pieces. For Lange and vacheron I saw a lot of the models you can get on the 2nd market cheap...

I'm a big fan of this size in RG. For me I find RG flashy, but in this smaller format ,and the style of the historique, it has a cool vintage feel. I haven't sprung for it as I still don't see myself putting on a rg watch. Yet - Kevin Btw- that bronze gol...

Knowing your collection and taste, I had anticipated that you would acquire the CK 859! I received the call Tuesday from the OB that my piece has arrived. Unfortunately, I’m on assignment in Kansas City and won’t fly back to “Bahston” until tomorrow night... 

Congrats Mach on your CK859 too. This watch at it’s retail is a no brainer to me considering all the quantities it comes with. At least Omega is willing to accept a deposit and work with any walk in customer. This is going to be a huge community watch. I ...

And with you, it’s been Omega all along. Sorry to hear about the underwhelming experiences at other brand boutiques, but I guess some of that also has to do from fatigue from the sales staff not being able to serve and fulfill their clients and prospects ... 

I was prepared for this and just want to experience it myself. It is true I cannot imagine how many customers who just wants the hype and hot stuff and were shocked or furious at the rejection, sorry for the poor salespeople 😂 I will let him know your kin...

Nice to know that they are producing more CK859! The staff at the Omega London boutique were exceptionally friendly, and actually quite similar to my experiences at the London Patek salon. Can I just compliment you on your 7234R! Such a beautiful timepiec...

No did not know, though I assumed there would be an eventual limit given it is a speciality piece. Would be interested to know why 2939. 39 I guess because it is based on the original 1939 model, but 29? Many congrats by the way!!! I haven't stopped weari... 

It says it on there but the case back scribed Numbered Edition…very intriguing.

the front has the ref, watch no, jeweller, and date (and a number below the date). The back just has writing and a QR code.

I just now realised I was only given the warranty and chronometer cards. I have just sent an email to the boutique to investigate. Strange they had missed this particularly as it was the only watch they had at the store. Of course I should have been more ... 

In any case, i have more luck here in Singapore with richemont boutiques.

Irrespective of (Omega’s professional) stance and behavior, I find the CK859 a true marvel in its own right. Thanks for sharing!!

Same as you I feel more and more "disturbed" by the selling practices of some brands and thus appreciate more the customer friendliness of brands like Omega. The CK859 is a very interesting piece and I am eager to discover it at my AD.

Having to deal with every person that suddenly becomes a watch collector 😂 Nevertheless, Omega still stands out in every boutique I visited so far. Kudos to them.

It might be a LE. First i will dive more into their history. CK 859. 70h pr, 316L steel, 15000 g anti mag, hw. There are a few things that not match wat i want, but still an interesting watch. The dial is good, but the hands could be more nicer, i am not ...

Because it really reflects my experience with the boutiques. Since many brands are phasing out ADs (Lange, AP, Vacheron) things got really weird. The AP "House" looks like a museum. I asked if they had any watches available and they said "but it is by app... 

All in all, now it’s about money talks, not passion, very sad to see this. Glad to know like yourself, I also have good Rolex and Omega luck so far. Lange is really challenging now unless I’m spending another $300-$500k again on non-limited pieces, just t... 

Lange is the biggest turnaround as many pieces used to be in stock and not moving. I am surprised that, even clients like you with an extensive collection, need to buy more to qualify for something ! I have two Lange (Lange 1 and 1815) and don't need anyt...
