The initial dial design was used with . . .

 


. . . two different movements [see MT/MTF/SW articles in Omega blog archives], so really, there are four distinct varieties. I believe Greg's is one of the first generation, which are, as far as I know, indistinguishable from the second generation externally. The third generation has the same movement as the second, but with a simplified dial employing bar indices; there is also a skeleton version in platinum. Finally, the latest version incorporates a co-axial escapement sans dial. Even though there are significant aesthetic and mechanical differences between the various generations, all of them manage to portray time in a uniquely purposeful manner . . . there's not one that I would turn down, given the opportunity.
