i know exactly what you mean. When I have "camera in hand" I do not experience the event the same way. That has happened to me at the Omega Museum back in 1997 ( took over 200 photos and 3 hours of video). The same thing happened at the Omegamania cocktail party in NYC. It is hard for me to enjoy the event when I am constantly thinking of the shots.

Sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees. It's like going for a holiday but we look at the sights only thru the videocam :P
