Update Omega Chronometer
Dear fellow Purists,
recently I asked for your advice concerning an Omega Chronometer in RG that I purchased from a respectable dealer.
Some comments doubted its genuiness (dial, hands) and my watchmaker found an issue with the balance wheel which made it impossible to regulate the watch.
I sent the watch back to my seller and he had it shipped to Omega HQ in Biel.
Here two pics as a reminder:
Now, Omega said the case (!) would not be genuine and proposed to fit a new one at a substantial price as can be assumed.
I returned the watch to my seller and he himself to the auction house where he bought the watch in the first place.
Thanks to all experts here who aroused scepticism in me and who were right!

there are no excuses for such behavior - if somebody claims to be a professional seller he should know what he offers - otherwise it would be better he sold hotdogs... Often they just try to find a buyer who is not so well prepared and does not research e...
