What can you do for the spotty dial?
Jev,
After polishing, other things become prominent like the cracked glass you mentioned.
For me, the spotty dial is now highlighted.
What caused that and can anything be done?
I know the affliction is pretty evenly spread but I am wondering about the disease.
As a physician, I always worry about patient's spots 
and will it get worse?

That can't be undone as it's one form of patinas... Perhaps, if it was on those indexes/applied logos, as long as the material is a solid material (non coated things) I'll try to polish it with my smallest buffing wheel I got, if I got time. Like perhaps,...
