a really lovely piece now. You sometimes do hear horror stories about Omega's refurbishment of vintage watches but I have had no direct experience - I don't suppose you'd mention the order of cost for all this - or is that something we don't do on this forum. I'd love to know as I may be doing the same thing in the near future.

Hard to win with a distressed model
Even a basket case 910 will cost you more to buy and fix than buying a nice one to begin with. You never see them going cheap enough to justify. Feel the same way about vintage SM300s. Even more so with classic cars (I've learned my lessons there )

For some reason, they seem to have a lot of resources
to restore these late 60s, early 70s large cased Seamasters, Speedmasters and Flightmasters. It's great that they do.
