I have been looking for an Official Omega timer for some years and now I have finally bought one!It´s a very special chronograph with inventory no. 727 Rattrapante. Now I let the pictures talk. The Caliber 206 Is really something very special!...

Hi Rikard, ....and it could well be worth a closer look. If I'm not mistaken this is one of the rarer examples with Guillaume balance wheel ! This and another detail make it very likely this was originally delivered with a "Bulletin de marche" of the Neuc... 

Hi Suitbert That is very cool never knew that Omega made these with Guillaume balance wheel. Do you know what they were used for with a "Bulletin de marche" of the Neuchatel observatory ? Looking forward to reading more on this topic. Good Hunting Bill So... 

.... as I understand it, it's more or less due to the customer, who required some sort of "officiallity" for the timekeeper. It's a quite technical watch and used mainly for official timekeeping, so this seems quite appropriate. I have no insights though,... 

As far as I can tell It does indeed have a Guillaume balance.I will contact Omega regarding my piece and the possibilty of Observatory trials.

which was used in this timer did indeed have a Guillaume balance wheel and had 22 jewels plus the "luxury finish" typical of omega's chronometre movements. The inventory number is printed on the dial and the timepiece belonged to the omega timing departme...
