I’m with you on lighter colored straps. It looks good definitely and adds a nice pop but somehow i gravitate towards darker colored straps..
On my panerai, for example, i love the contrast of the typical brown strap or sand colored canvas strap but somehow wear it on the dark gray/green strap more frequently. But, yeah, nice change of pace for your spectre
Maybe tan/brown on Panerai is too common hence you prefer a different look…
In terms of clothings, I’m also tend towards darker shoes, then pants then shirts so I don’t feel too heavy 😅
