You will not have the same problem as with the Rolex...
HI Michael
From your post the your Rolex is a manual wind Oyster. That means everytime you needed to wind the watch you had to unscrew the crown , that could cause undue wear to the crown and tube if your not careful. I bet the crown and tube could have gotten cross threaded. But that will not happen with the Moonwatch.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I didn't realise that about the winder, good to know. I had an old 1970's Rolex Oyster Date Precision a few years back and after about 3 years the winder broke off! Got it repaired but didn't want this to happen with...

Thank you both for taking the time to respond. I've decided to definitely get one, the original 3570.50 version. I love everything about the look of this watch, and the 42mm case is the perfect size for my wrist. I did look at the slightly cheaper 323.30....
Good decision ...

The Speedmaster Professional is one of the few iconic watches that everyone loves. Please note that, by that forum rules, we don't discuss prices here. Take your time and do your research. I'm sure that you can locate a good deal. Cheers, Nilo
