Parmigiani does not struggle with dial colors and usage. Green remains a popular color in watchmaking, but many pieces are a little bit too... green. The grayish shade of green used here, coupled with the open worked movement, seems to leave behind a perf... 

for regular wear. This one has the subtler wow factor. Wish it was not a limited run.

Similarly, the dial on the red gold piece is excellent. I wish the steel had a similarly appealing dial, unless it just doesn’t photograph as well.🤷🏽‍♂️

and it seems that one of the main distinctions is that AP uses components with varying colors, thinner ‘scaffolding’ and degrees of contrast. In the case of PF, they have this thicker ‘scaffold’ that is either slate, light blue, or green which doesn’t all...

I just looked at site and see the various options. There’s a separate all platinum piece. This green is limited edition like the all platinum.

I think we are at the last legs of the green dial hype and many green dialed watches will look dated in some years but this PF has such a unique feel and tone that I bet it will look good even after 10-20-30 years time. Expertly done, bravo to Mr Terreni ... 

Even knowing that it’s even better I real life, I don’t relate to it, but I know it’s just me and can definitely imagine how attractive it is ! Best, Emmanuel
