My Nautilus is a 5726 on leather strap, which I think it is not the most beloved model here but I'm very happy with it. Any new Nautilus model will be welcome if it respects the way I consider the Nautilus range : - half ''vintage'' and half modern, : The... 

I do not feel that the Nautilus should be thin... it is a sports watch afterall. I too struggle with the 5990 for its 2 pushers on the left side as it takes away the hinges that recall a porthole aesthetic. I definitely would like to see the Oscillomax in... 

A perpetual calendar Nautilus with 240Q. I quite like the 5990 case dimensions and aesthetic so I do not personally have a problem if the Nautilius designs to come in 2015/2016 are slightly larger. Hopefully some nice surprises are to come at Basel 2015 a... 

would that fit? Something based on the caliber 324, with a retrograde date hand could be more appropriate for a Nautilus.

I agree with you when you say "even more" as it is a "yes" answer to me. The Nautilus mixes elegance in a very special way. It is, to me, an elegant watch before being a sport watch. To be worn with any outfit, even suites. It brings something that other ... 

One important feature of Nautilus is its slimness. A perpetual calendar Nautilus with 240Q would be cool. But so would a basic 40 years anniversary Nautilus with 260 movement, without second hand and solid back. In both cases slim bracelet and water resis... 

A very thin and pure 2 hands Nautilus with a 260 caliber would be a very special and appealing piece indeed (with a see through caseback though for me). I hope this won't happen :p Cheers, Mark

It's much easier if my 5711 remains the Basic Nautilus - I do not want to acquire another. But if such watch would appear, what can I do? With my 3712 I had much better luck. It's replacing nicely 5712 and no need to expand to that one. Best, Kari

All RG Interestingly, I was at a factory visit with a group of enthusiasts in Geneva last week, and one wore his 5980 RG strap piece. The dial of that watch is more brown than my piece which is more grayish than brown. Very nice differences.

I love this reference, and the 5980 only slightly less. To me, these are the only complications that make sense on a watch that is, although certainly elegant, really a sport watch in its essence.

if we think about the Ref. 5800. (5800 vs 5711) Ref. 7021, with lots of diamonds and 33.6mm diameter Ref. 7014/1 with diamonds and 33.5mm diameter Ref. 7018/1 with 50 diamonds on the bezel and 33.6mm diameter Almost everything is possible to get, but not ...

Oliver you do a great job in all your posts. It's easy to get distracted when you are surrounded by similar cases and tiny details tend to escape from time to time. Even the best hunter misses a shot sometimes. Have a great day. J.

i am with that, let's call it 5989/C. Ceramic or carbon case, ceramic bezel, no date necessary but possibly with white font on black background, monopusher split second chronograph in dial layout similar to 5960A, rubber strap in Aquanaut strap material b...

5726T then? Titanium case would be interesting. Perhaps even with ADLC treatment...

But that was an unique piece made for charity auction. I do not believe that we can expect new Nautilus with a case made of some of these new materials. That would be very non-Patek and probably many of the conservative loyal clients would lift their eyeb... 

and make a very nice new sportive Nautilus. Let's not forget the Nautilus is PP only 'sport' watch so lets make it one ;) It would not effect the DNA of the Nautilus at all IMVHO. I hope they do it and yes, the 5980 movement could work!

I love to see if 5726 R or 5990R with black or blue dial. I don't think Patek can or should made any material beside gold, steel and platinum probably a platinum 5726 with special blue. If something new for Nautilus line i wish they can give nautilus a ne...

An hour/minute model with the caliber 240 inside it, without center seconds hand, thinner than the actual 5711 and with a solid case back in a two parts scheme. :-) The perfect son of the iconic ref. 3700. I know, i like to dream.... Regards

I'll probably upset people with this comment ... but I'm really not trying to be contrary. It's my opinion that Nautilus references should be cased in steel. I think that was the original idea?

1. I would like the size of the 5711 be increased by 0.5 to 1.0 mm, while keeping the proportions. Even on my 17.5 cm wrist my 5711J sometimes looks a tad small. I quite like the size (not thickness) of the 5726. I also liked the 5726 with the white/silve... 

Some nautilus references will surely be discontinued and I will venture a wild guess also. 5711A will also be discontinued, both blue and white dial and a new reference, with larger case size and no seconds hand will replace it. The new 3700!

I think the Nautilus looks sweet on a strap, too! My fave Nautilus today is the 5740. Beautiful aesthetics, thin case, no pushers... the best one imho. What I really don't like is the models with pushers of any kind. Ruins the distinctive case lines, and ... 

the 44mm would be a beast and I know MANY people would dump their ROO for it. -Dean
