Patek has created one titanium Nautilus earlier.
But that was an unique piece made for charity auction.
I do not believe that we can expect new Nautilus with a case made of some of these new materials. That would be very non-Patek and probably many of the conservative loyal clients would lift their eyebrows. Let me say that I belong to those old farts.
I do not believe that Nautilus is the right platform for a split second mono pusher chronograph. Furthermore, this complication is nice in a MW watch. However, a simple mono pusher chronograph would be very interesting and I guess that using the movement of 5980, such a movement could be made. A mono pusher would not violate the original shape of Nautilus and thus, it could be a perfect new sportive Nautilus.
