I owned a P and a G piece but it was not well balanced and didnt sit well on the wrist and not near as great a piece as the 5970 or the 5304…..
Decided to put on the 5270g-001 today
on a nice brisk fall day. The weather finally broke here in the south, so it’s strap season for me again. Enjoy your Tuesday friends! ...

I’ve never seen any 5270 in real life, but judging from photos,
this is my favorite variant. The dial is perfectly balanced. Thanks for sharing.

Wish I didn’t, but that’s that how the ball bounces sometimes. The 5270 fits perfectly on my wrist though. Thanks for your positive post.

When it first came out, I was surprised by the huge price increase compared to its predecessor 5970. The dial, hands, absence of tachymeter, axis of the chronograph indicators below the central time
indication made me doubt. But with time and the new iterations that came out, it is this first version that I find to be the purest and perhaps the best even if it was not very successful and they came up with redesigned versions.
